Not even a little sting! I have moderate to light acne and I have definitely noticed a big improvement. My breakouts last for a lot less time and less are popping up. I absolutely love it and I think it's actually curing my acne along with my use of the oil cleansing method. I must point out though that when it starts to get empty it's hard to apply because of the air bubble in the tube so I just popped off the roller and use a q-tip instead.
