What is CZ Diamond? Is it the same as a Natural or Man-Made Diamond?
Cubic Zirconia (also known as CZ) is a crystal similar to a diamond comparable to its brilliance and crystal clarity. It is a synthesised crystalline material that is colourless, hard, and flawless. Its brilliance looks so much like a diamond, it is an affordable alternative to diamonds. Variations of colours can be seen sometimes to simulate the different colours of a Diamond.
Many people, even some trained professionals, cannot tell the difference between diamonds and Cubic Zirconia. Due to the similarity in the optical and physical properties of a Cubic Zirconia, may have mistaken CZ to be a diamond. These crystals stand out amount many of its close relatives.
