It is wonderful. So nice to turn on 1/2 hour before retiring and the bed is nice and toasty. The blanket itself is plush and sumptuous. The wires are very thin and not at all uncomfortable. The blanket works very well. I followed the instructions and set it on HI the first night and had to turn it way down in the middle of the night. Now my heating dial is set to 1 or 2, my husbands 2 or 3 and it is perfect. Delivery from Walmart was prompt. Took less than a week to receive the order. It was delivered UPS to my doorstep. Couldn't be happier. However, that's all it does ... warm. My bedroom is the coldest room in my house, so I always use an electric blanket. Granted, it's about 68 degrees-ish, give or take a tad. So, I like my electric blankets to be WARM. This was a huge disappointment in this area. I turned my side on HIGH and it was barely warm. It did nothing to warm my sheets before I climbed into bed, and if I go to bed without my husband to help warm me, I stay cold, even with the blanket! Maybe I should have paid attention to the "low voltage" description in the name ... but there were so many high reviews I wanted to try it. If you're looking for an electric blanket that is just warm, even on the highest setting, or are very warm-blooded and just looking for something to warm your toes ... this is your blanket.
