It is a 100 mm macro lens with USM and further improved ease of use.
Unity magnification photography is possible.
By adopting the inner focus, we secured a long working distance of 149 mm at the same magnification.
With wide focus ring equipment, full time manual focus, filter frame non-rotation, etc., it is very good for the operability when using the accessory, of course.

■ Ring USM
USM (Ultrasonic Motor) = Ultrasonic motor supports high focus / high response, quick focusing.
It has ideal characteristics as a lens driving motor, such as little operation noise.
■ Inner Focus
A technology to reduce the total weight of moving lenses by using a part of the lens configuration as a focusing lens.
It realizes high-speed and precise AF control, excellent holding balance, and compactness.
■ Full time manual focus
After autofocus, manual focus can be instantly done just by rotating the focus ring after one shot AF so that the photographer can finally adjust the focus.
