I have 2 toddlers who are still learning to spit out their toothpaste. It is such a relief knowing that this is safe for the times that they accidentally (or purposely if I'm being honest) swallow the toothpaste. I love that Crest specifically addresses this toddler need on the tube, recommending a pea sized portion.The appearance of the toothpaste is also toddler-friendly. It is a very bright pink and it sparkles, so it grabs their attention. The flavor is just sweet enough that they enjoy brushing their teeth, but not so sweet that they correlate the flavor with candy. The cap flips open while staying attached to the bottle, which is amazing because tiny hands easily drop things (or purposely throw them if, again, I'm being honest). Kids Crest Cavity Protection Sparkle Fun toothpaste is exactly that. My sons, yes I said it, my SONS LOVE the pink sparkly fun paste. They love the taste and the color. I love that it is gentle on their enamel since adult toothpaste can be rather harsh on little ones enamel. The consistency is also a great factor. It's not too thick or too thin. Half of it doesn't end up in the sink or the floor. It stays right on the brush until it reaches their mouth. It cleans just as good as adult toothpaste without the harshness and overpowering flavor of mint or spiciness that my boys don't like. Anything that helps to entice them to keep brushing and like it is definitely staying in their bathroom.
