Soft Elastic Band For Universal Fit

Note: When worn for the first few times, it may feel tight due to characteristics of elastic band that fits onto the head. (Some may experience redness on the forehead after first few times of use. Do not be concerned as it is a temporary effect due to elastic band).

As this is normal for any brand new products made with elastic material that needs a break-in period, elastic band will loosen up and feel more comfortable overtime and it will stretch at the same time as baby's head grows.

Elastic is made tight so that it does not slip down the face during bath and also to prevent water from passing through and wet the face.

Also, please note that not all babies like to put something on their heads. It may take some time to get used to putting the hat during bath.

This was great item. I got this for my adult mom to support her ability to wash her own hair after having had a stroke. Needed to have it to keep water out of her eyes so that she would not get disoriented. This was great. it was able to fit over her head. She could do it herself with only one hand. The only downside is that all of the colors/styles were for children. it would be nice if they had a plain one.

My baby is 8months and 18lbs. She just wants to play with her toys and splash around, so washing her hair can be challenging. And like any parent, you want to avoid getting soapy water down their face and water in their ears. I was disappointed in the foam head shields at the big box stores. This has a soft elastic type head band so it fits snug. And the fabric is similar to a thick shower cap. The circular shape keeps its form with a thin wire.I've only used it once but yesssssssss! It was awesome. My baby was able to play while I washed her hair and not a single drop on her face or in her ears!!

Exactly what I was looking for! Bought this to use on my 10 month old baby. Wish I found this and bought a lot sooner! I was surprised how much this thing can stretch. It can fit around an adult head. Washing my daughter's hair used to be a 2 person job, one covering her ears, the other rinsing her hair. This shower hat frees up your hands! It is nice quality and does the job. I got this for my 2 year old. My son's head is in the 80% for size. It is too tight and therefore he doesn't like to wear it. He has played with it, pulling it on and off his head, wearing it as a necklace. I believe it will hold up quality wise.

I love the elastic on this. My husband hit it on his head and it fit afterwards perfectly on my toddlers head. I'm sure the elastic will relax after so many uses (as all elastic does) but I am in love with this. My 16 month doesn't seem to be bothered by it, surprisingly didn't try to take it off, and didn't get any water in his eyes. He would scream and panic and try to climb out during baths when it came to washing his hair because he wouldn't sit still long enough for me to rinse his hair without getting water in his eyes. Now, he loves getting a bath and doesn't panic when I wash/rinse his hair now. This is a lifesaver. I have a 5 year old autistic son who still to this day cannot take a bath without flipping out about water near his face. We've tried a lot of different methods but were exhausted when they didn't work. The product itself is perfect. It extends enough so the water just drips off. As long as he puts his head back, it falls towards the back of the head instead of near his face. I was a bit worried that since I read reviews about these fitting adult heads as well as childrens, but I can see why. It's VERY stretchy so when you receive it, the circle looks pretty small but expands really well and seems comfortable. I would recommend to those having problems with bath time. I wish I would have had it as a kid.

My daughter has always hated getting her hair washed. I usually resort to simple water rinsing and only shampoo when she gets mud or something sticky in it, which is actually healthier for her scalp and hair anyway. But, we still have protests and tears at the simple act of rinsing even though it's quicker. Now that she's 2-1/2, she will sometimes cooperate a little, but we have to get it done on the first try.I got her excited about it before the bath, and I told her I had a present for her. I called it her bath hat the first few times, and then after that bath, I started calling it her shampoo hat. I asked if she wanted to wear it, and she did but only wore it a few seconds and wanted me to try it. I put it on, and it did fit me. I could see it being used for older children with special needs or the elderly who can't put their head back, etc.After this, I put it back on her and shampooed her hair. She wanted to take it off before rinsing, but I convinced her to leave it on and rinsed her hair quickly. The front brim started lowering from the water pouring, so I put my finger on the front just in case so that she didn't have water pouring off the front for that first time. I'm not sure it would have, but I figured the less going out the front the better. She ducked her head down, but water still stayed out of her face and ears, which was a huge success!The color is nice. I got the green which has limes on it. It would be even cuter with turtles or frogs, especially since my daughter likes them, but it's still really nice.
