  • What we like:

  • The lip area of the duckbill is reinforced with stronger material so it does not tear as easy and last longer

  • Works with:

  • Designed to be 100% compatible with Ameda parts (Ameda CustomFit Breast Flanges, Ameda Breast Purely Yours and Lactaline pumps) as well as the Maymom Breastshield for Ameda Breast Pumps
  • Compatible with Spectra S1, M1, 9 Plus and Dew 350
    • Though it looks smaller than original Spectra valve, it fits inside of the flange ring, not over the ring; Please refer to photo below.
    • It is OK to see a small gap (less than 0.5mm) between the lips of the duckbill when not in use. It closes properly during a pump action.
  • Compatible with Freemie pump. Similar to above, it also fits inside the hole and not over the hole

Cleaning:
  • Wash this piece with hot, soapy water. It is not advisable to insert any object into the valve opening to clean it. This may tear or stretch the part resulting in poor performance

  • Check the valve frequently for tears
