Installation Instruction

Start the engine and check whether the device is correctly installed.

[Caution]When installed correctly, turn the device on and enter recording mode. Check the display image on the screen whether it is normal or not. If the display image becomes inverted image, please contact us. Attach the rear camera to the back of car, and make sure it is on the right direction. Cabling can be laid along the roof of the car. After this, pull the plug of the rear camera into the port of the device. Adjust the camera and ensure it stay horizontal with the ground. Connect USB Port of the device and car charger together with an extended charging cord.

[Caution]Charging cord can be laid along the windshield。Plug the car charger into the Cigarette Lighter. Mount the unit on the position of the original rear camera. Insert TF card into the card slot.

[Caution]Please use TF card above Class4, greater than 512MB. Support up to 32G TF Card.

Using the TF card

1.   Please ensure the TF card is inserted correctly into the TF slot before you turn the device on.

2.   Slightly push the TF card and take it out.

[Caution]

1.   DO NOT INSERT or REMOVE THE TF CARD WHEN THE CAMERA IS ON!! This can damage card, camera, or Both!

2.   Ensure the TF card is inserted in the right way. Wrong insertion could damage car and camera.

3.   If the TF card is incompatible with the device, please reinsert it or change a new TF card or format the TF card in the menu.

Button Functions

1. Power Button

1)ON/OFF Function

When the device is off, momentarily press the “power button” for 3 seconds to turn it on. When it is on, long press the “power button” for 3 seconds to save the files and turn it off.

2).Flashlight

When the device is in standby recording mode/photo mode, momentarily press the “power” button, to realize the switch of flashlight mode: ON/OFF/Auto. When the device is in the auto mode, the flashlight corresponds to the lightness and darkness of the camera.

3).One key Screen Backlight Off

In recording mode, press（power button） to turn the screen backlight off. Short press any key to start the screen. This doesn’t affect recording.

1.   MENU 

1）      Menu Setting

When the device is in standby mode，short press MENU to enter main menu function setting form, short press ▲ or ▼ choose from the submenu， and press OK to confirm. When the device is in PLAYBACK mode, momentarily press MENU to select the files to delete, and press OK to confirm to delete. After setting, short press MENU to exit menu function setting.

2）      Lock Function

In the recording mode, when the car collides, momentarily press the emergency lock key, then things happen 10seconds before the collision and 20 seconds after the collision will be saved as a special file and will not be covered by loop recording video.

3. OK

1) Enter Video Recording

In the video recording mode, press the OK to start recording, and short press OK to save the video.

2).Take Pictures

In the picture taking mode, press OK to take a picture.

2) Date/Time Setting

When the device is in Date/Time setting, press MODE to amend Year/Month/Day

3) In the video recording mode, short press MODE to open/close sound recoding.

2.   ▼  Page down Button

1）      Page down function

In the menu setting and reply mode, ▼ represents page down.

3.   ▲ Camera Switch Button

1)  Momentarily press ▲ to switch camera among Front Camera/Rear Camera, Picture In Picture。 

2)  Page Up Function 

In the menu setting and reply mode, ▲ represents page up.

4.   Reset Button

When the device crashes, short press Reset Button to restart.

Operation Instruction

Automatically recording function

Start the car engine; connect the device to the car power to start automatically recording.

Shut down the car engine, the device will save files and shut down. Recording videos will save in the TF card separately. When the TF card is full, the device will cover the previous videos.

[Caution]

1.   Video recording time can be set in the MENU, ranging from 1/3/5 mins.

2.   Video files of front and rear camera will be saved separately in file “DCIMA” and “DCIMB”.

Date and Time Setting

[Caution]

To get an effective proof of car driving record, please set the date and time before using this device.

USB Flash Disk Mode

Connect the device to a computer USB with a data cable, three modes will appear on the screen: Disk/Camera/Charging.

Monetarily press Page Up/Down button to select Disk, press OK to enter USB Flash Disk Mode.

[Notes]

When copying the video files to a computer, we suggest using a card reader

GPS Function

When the device is on, with no GPS module in the GPS slot of the device, GPS icon will show forbidden.

When the GPS module is inserted the GPS slot, GPS icon will flash. In the outdoors, the device can catch the signal in one minute. When the GPS icon stop flashing, it locates successfully. After this, when you enter recording mode, the driving track will automatically generate GPS files.

[Notes]

GPS file will be saved as MAP format.

Visual Reversing

First，connect the device to the car charger, connect the black red line of the rear camera to the stop lamp。 

When connected to the car charger, the device will record automatically.

In any condition, switch to reverse, the screen will turn to rear camera, showing car reversing image. When car reversing finishes, the device will go back to video recording mode.
