Has matte and shiny areas on the links on the bracelet which don't show on the image shown. Also, it's a beautiful bright and deep sapphire blue, not milky washed out blue as the image here shows. Almost all of the watches I came across cost more than twice as much as this watch, most actually many times the price. Reading the reviews for many of the lower priced ones, I read things like "band not adjustable" and "bezel fell off after just a few weeks/months". This one, made by Armitron, seems much sturdier. As noted, the picture does not do it justice, the face a much deeper blue than the picture would indicate, and the band a combination of gloss and matte finished steel. While adjustable, I find even the smallest setting on the band a little more loose than I would prefer. The picture shows the date window on the face to the right of center, but it is actually smaller and difficult to read.
