DIY Candle Making Kit



Inside the Kit: Soy wax 200g, Fragrance Oil 20ml, Cotton Wick (10cm x 2), Wick Sustainer & Sticker x 2

You will need: 250ml Glass Jar (Recommended Diameter between 7-8cm), Metal container for melting soy wax, Thermal plate (or pot for double boiling), Thermometer 


Step 1: Fix the wick on the glass jar


-Remove the brown colour paper on sticker and attach the wick sustainer. 

-Remove the white colour paper on the other side and attach wick to the centre of the glass jar. 

Step 2: Melt the soy wax

-Pour the soy wax flaskes into a metal beaker, melt the wax on the thermal plate. 

-If you do not have a thermal plate, you may double boil to melt the wax in a pot. 

-Turn off the thermal plate when 3/4 of the soy wax has been melted more. The lingering heat will melt the remaining soy wax. 


Step 3: Add the Fragrance Oil

-When the melted wax temperature reaches between 60-65 degree celsius, add 20ml of fragrance oil and stir gently using the wooden stick. 

-Wait for the wax to cool off until around 45 degree celsius.


Step 4: Pour the wax into a glass jar

-Pour melted wax into your glass jar. 

-Do not touch the glass jar until it has totally cooled off.
