We find that these run a half size small. It's best to order a half size larger than usual (7.5 fits 8, etc.). These shoes feature durable, suede leather soles which are designed for dancers of all skill levels. The suede soles are flexible without losing support and balance. To maintain the suede leather (or make it less "zippy"), we recommend using a fine, brass wire brush on the soles to remove the grit and dirt. Aris Allen's are admired worldwide for their amazing comfort and these are no exception. The insoles are well padded with highly supportive foam which helps reduce the impact on your feet when dancing for long periods of time. The foam insole is removable, allowing you to use inserts or orthotics more tailored for your own foot.
