AIRCONcare™ Cleaning Kit
(Usual Price $59.95)

The AIRCONcare™ Kit is designed to allow any homeowner to clean their own ductless split air conditioner fan coil unit without the hassle and danger of dismantling the unit. The secret to our system is in the cleaning solution which is a 'super-detergent' that effectively washes away all traces of biofilm without damaging the air conditioning unit at all.

The AIRCONcare™ Kit comes with everything that you need to thoroughly clean your aircon unit, including:

The AIRCONcare™ Kit Wash Bag is specially designed to attach to your air conditioning unit with a strong elastic band. This allows for a secure fit not matter the type or model of air conditioner you are cleaning. The snug fit of the wash bag reduces leaks and allows for effective cleaning of the aircon unit. The Wash Bag allows you to enjoy all of the benefits of the AIRCONcare™ Kit, including:
No messy cleanup, simply empty the wash bag into a toilet and flush away
No disassembling the unit
No harsh chemicals, same great clean
Holds up to 3 liters of waste water.
Elastic Band makes it easy to attach to any unit
Use of Wash Bag

Optional add on:

(Large Wash Bag - FCU Length 950 - 1500 mm)

(Standard Wash Bag -  FCU Length less than 950mm)

(Refill - 2000ml)
For 1 - 4 Aircon Blower Units

The AIRCONcare™ Kit comes with Refill Chemicals to be used as part of the system for cleaning your air conditioning unit. These chemicals are a biodegradable ‘super detergent’ that obliterates bacteria and biofilm on contact, without damaging your aircon unit.
AIRCONcare™ has been tested in the Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre and found to eliminate 99.99% of the bacteria that can be found in air conditioning systems and other wet cooling places.

Our solution is designed not to leave any residue or coating behind after you rinse it. It is actually not a good idea to coat the coils with any coating after cleaning. Reason being, you can potentially modify the surface energy of the cooling coils thus speeding up the rate at which organics (skin flakes) and dust particles to cling to the surfaces which in turn act as food source for bacteria and mould. This is the reason why air conditioner engineers have put in a hydrophilic (repel adhesives) coating on the coils in the newer systems.

The way our solution works is it turns any surface it touches hydrophilic thus repelling any adhesive that is on it almost instantly. This then allows the organics (skin flakes), biofilm, and dirt to be washed away by the rinsing and flushing with water.

Currently conventional cleaning solution attacks and erodes the oxide layer of the aluminum to remove the biofilm. That is why you see a shiny coating after wash. The downside of this method is this strip-mines the aluminum material off the cooling fins.  There is a limit to how frequent one can use this method on an air conditioner. Plus, if you happen to leave some cleaning solution in the system, it will continue to corrode any metal it stays on.

Note: Hydrophilic coatings create low surface energy which repels anything that wants to stick to it. Hence, they reduce the rate of organic build up and allow the condensate to flow smoothly over their surfaces. This means the condensate will drain effectively and not contribute to blocking the airflow and reducing the air conditioner efficiency.
