The belay pack comes with the Saturn Belay Device and the Essence auto-locking carabiner.The Saturn Belay Device is a modified "tube" style belay device. A slightly larger opening allows easier setup when you "bite" the rope and smoother belay. The ribbed grooves offer increased friction and lock off for belaying and rappelling. The Essence is a larger modified "D" shaped carabiner with a snag free key lock nose for faster and smoother clipping and un-clipping. The auto-locking gate is easy to use with one hand and locks as soon as released. Meets ANSI Z 359.1, UIAA standards. MBS: 28 KN.
