Our Premiere wax trimmer offers you a low-cost solution to the tedious process of removing excess paraffin, by hand, from your tissue cassettes.

This wax trimmer features both a low and a high temperature setting, which offers an approximate heating range of 90°C to 100°C (194°F to 212°F) The stainless steel surface is partially grooved and partially smooth, which will allow you to get into all the nooks and crannies on your tissue cassettes, cutting through the excess paraffin like a hot knife through butter. The trimmer also features a single deep groove which causes the paraffin to flow directly into a special collection tray; so gone will be the days when paraffin would solidify around the unit, or little pools of paraffin would form underneath it.

Additionally, the metal collection tray itself can then be heated to re-liquefy the collected paraffin runoff, allowing it to be recycled, thus eliminating all the unnecessary waste of the past. The XH-90 also comes with 5 disposable plastic liners that can pop in and out in a snap.
