Wiping my feet off because I hate dragging dirt in my bed. 2. I have wood flooring that tends to stay cold so it's nice to feel a warm rug on my feet when I get up. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase but I do have minor complaints. 1. The memory foam is extremely weak & barely noticeable, especially for the price. I've purchased memory foam rugs from Walmart before that, although plain solid colors, were much better quality of memory foam at a much lower price. (On a side note, the rug is VERY soft, somewhat making up for the subtle memory foam) 2. I purchased the red rug and the color isn't as deep scarlet red I would have preferred. It's more like a pinkish-red but I'm not too disheartened by it. The design matches my new bedding well so it's been easy to overlook the few minor complaints.
