This portable earthen pot is made by the family of Ukrainian artisans - the Tikhonovs. All of their products are made on the potter's wheel by hand, then patterns are drawn and ceramic goods are baked in the oven, after which the products are dipped into milk. Milk contains casein and calcium, that helps to close micro pores in the clay and makes the ceramic dishes stronger without changing it eco - friendly qualities; thanks to the milk, the pots acquire such a dark brown color. Then the pots are again baked and peeled to make a smooth texture.
