Add fresh water to pot, approximately ¾” (or 2 cm). Water must be lower than the steamer’s base. Bring to a boil. 2. Add food item to the steamer then lower into the pot. 3. Cover pot and steam to desired texture and taste. Consult recipe for timing. Measurements: 1. 5.5” diameter 2. Expands to 9” 3. There is approx. ¾” of space between the bottom of the silicone feet and the base of the steamer
