It features a 1/4 in. narrow keeper with 2-7/8 in. hole centers on the keeper, and 2-1/4 in. hole centers on the cam-action keyed locking latch. This sash lock can be used on vertical single and double hung sliding windows, as well as on horizontal sliding windows, and it can be installed on windows constructed of aluminum, wood and vinyl sash and frames. This child-proof designed lock can only be opened with the provided keys. Used for child-proofing sliding windows and for securing windows at high elevation.
