Formula 10.0.6 is an amazing skincare brand that has products for absolutely every skin type. I absolutely love their masks, exfoliators, wipes and treatments. The products are effective affordable and highly recommended for anyone looking to target a skin issue! Formula 10.0.6 started in 1933 and clearly have a large amount of experience in the skincare industry, which is probably why I love them so much!
So its pretty clear from the above photo that I absolutely have a crush on the Formula 10.0.6 skincare range. I have never done a post about Formula 10.0.6, but I thought it was about time!
I absolutely LOVE the masks. The range is huge and there is a mask for everyone! Whether you have oil skin or breakout prone skin or completely normal skin. I thought that I would write about each product individually as they are all amazing!
The ‘Keep Your Cool’ breakout calming mask is a gel mask infused with peppermint and coconut. The mask instantly reduces the appearance of nasty breakouts (and it really does)! The peppermint purifies and refreshes your skin to calm breakouts while the coconut soothes the blemishes. The mask tingles a bit when you first apply it, but its a cooling tingle which is expected from any product that contains peppermint.
The ‘No Time To Shine’ oil-absorbing mud mask is a shine controlling mask full of sea minerals and kaolin clay to draw out and eliminate oils. The sea kelp and calendula work to balance the skin for ultimate clarity. My sister tried this mask out (as I do not have oily skin) and she loved it. She said her skin instantly felt less oil and her make up lasted so much longer after using it! The mask does tingle and feel a bit hot after application, but this is normal and nothing to be concerned about!
My favourite mask in the range is probably the ‘Pores Be Pure’ skin-clarifying mud mask. The mask has an amazing smell, not even kidding – it smells good enough to eat! The mask is packed with berried to work on clogged pores. The strawberry and rosemary eliminate impurities and the yarrow clarifies the skin. I love how this mask leaves my skin feeling! This mask also tingles and feels a bit hot after application.
The ‘Deep Down Detox’ ultra-cleansing mud mask is amazing too! The super cleansing mask cleanses impurities for a clearer, brighter completion. The energy of orange recharges the skin while the sea salt cleanses and bergamot balances. Trust me, you can instantly notice the difference in your skin after using this mask!
Finally the ‘Get You Glow On’ brightening peel off mask. The radiance boosting peel revitalises tired skin in minutes! As you peel the mask off you can actually see the dead skin, pores and blackheads on the mask – its grossly satisfying?! The papaya helps to resurface skin while the citrus boosts your skins brightness so you can flaunt a gorgeous complexion.
Before I put a mask on I always exfoliate as it opens up the pores and allows the mask to work better! ‘One Smooth Operator’ pore clearing face scrub is perfect for this. The scrub leaves your skin feeling fresh, smooth and clear. The micro particles of pumice buff away dead skin, the oatmeal draws out impurities and the zinc controls the oil. I love this scrub and tend to use it every second or third evening.
I love the wipes Formula 10.0.6 have! They remove makeup and leave your skin feeling hydrated and rejuvenated. And they have different wipes for different skin types which is actually awesome!
Finally, the treatments. Formula 10.0.6 have three treatments and I absolutely adore them! The ‘Down To The Pore’ blackhead strips are great. The kaolin absorbs impurities, dirt and oil while the tea tree detoxifies and leaves your nose feeling gorgeously smooth.
The ‘Over Night Success’ overnight spot minimising patches are perfect for getting rid of spots. The fast acting clear plasters work their magic while you sleep. The tea tree oil and grape seed target spots and visibly reduce them by morning. I love how the plasters come in different sizes!
The ‘Rescue Me!’ acne blemish treatment is amazing! The on-the-spot cream clears pimples over a few hours and does not leave scars like so many blemish gels!
