The FlexTIP-FIRM is a 'universal' replacement for standard walking canes. The FT-FIRM is the 'big brother' to our regular FlexTIP. If you transfer a significant amount of weight to your cane, fifty pounds or more, this version TIP is for you. The FT-FIRM has a stiffer stronger spring than its 'little brother'. It has BOTH Shock Absorption and free pivoting action in all 360 degrees providing you with un-matched comfort and stability as full contact of the base to the ground is maintained regardless of the angle of the cane or shape of the ground. For use with standard 3/4" diameter hollow metal canes. (Not for use with solid wooden canes. That's next - look for it in 2018!)
