It is a hard coal charcoal which roasted Ubame Oga (Oga Oaka), Blue Oak logs at 1000 to 1200 degrees of high temperature.
Bincho charcoal is porous and has a surface area of about 300 m² per 1 g, and it has excellent adsorption power.
