You come into close contact with large amounts of germs and bacteria on planes, at concerts, amusement parks, and the very crowded Las Vegas strip, so you cannot be too careful. The berry flavor of the Airborne chewable is immensely better than the citrus flavor, I have to say. However, it is a large pill and does a gritty texture. It is very tart, and the sour taste lasts for a while. I cannot even begin to imagine taking up to the 12 chewable tablets per day as indicated on the bottle. Not only do they taste poorly, but regularly exposing your body to such large doses of vitamins cannot be a good idea. My body needs to be able to fight off germs and bacteria on its own. That’s what the body’s natural immune system is for. My BF also takes them when he has been around crowds of people, but even he won’t take them once he gets sick. Now with that said, I defiantly give it a 5 star. I love these tablets! I received a bottle of 32 berry-flavored tablets and they taste really good. They kind of remind me of a sweet tart candy. The directions say take 1-4 tablets 3 times per day for adults and children 12-13 can take up to 2 times per day. There is 1000mg of vitamin C, plus 13 vitamins and herbs to get you well fast. This not only taste much better then the original Airborne but is more convenient for some like myself who is on the go.
