Gently submerge makeup bristles in warm water.
Wash them with a small amount of soap or gentle shampoo and work into a light lather.
Rinse brushes completely under flowing water. Until the water runs clear, being careful not to submerge the brush handles.
Gently squeeze out any excess water using a clean towel.
Allow them to air-dry in an open space.
