I am so happy with this set, the best part is that you can build 2 models!!! This is a perfect set to use for the Hero Factory theme. I used Surge to be the rider, but first you need to move some pieces and add a few, but still easy! The only con is that the chain sometimes locks up, but that is not a major problem. I give 9.9/10Written by a customer while visiting shop.LEGO.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportAnother 8282 Quad Bike ?2/15/2012Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews2/15/2012by ihavenoname321As you can see, the 9392 is like the 8282. Lets go to the review. The box The box is like the other Technic set. Showing the set in a black background with the functions of the set shown in a square. The back of the box showing the B-model in a black background with the functions shown. Nothing special here. Inside the box When I opened the box, I saw 4 56x26 tire, 2 building instruction (which one for the Quad, and one for the buggy), 1 large plastic bag, and a plenty of small axles in 2 small plastics bag Building instruction The instruction come in 60 pages, including the promotion page and the back page. Like the other Technic building instruction, the instruction background colour is blue. The instruction also come in 33 steps. The build The build is pretty easy, for the intermediate builders. The build begin with plenty beams and axles comes together and it is unpredictable whats you building on. So I just let you guest. After I let you guest, and the correct answer is we are building the rear part, we continue to step 12 and start adding the middle part. To the step 14 and we are adding the first gear. And we finish the middle part in step 19. We now building the front. After a long step, we are attaching the front to the middle and rear part. Quite hard locks with blue pin and an axle, we continue building the engine. The engine looks good with a piston. I do not know what kind of this machine are. We are attaching the engine which the piston can moving. After that we insert the chain and lock the engine with a beam. We continue to step 29 and attach the body. And we set the wheels and apply the steer. And Voila ! We finish the Quad. Pros and Cons, give me the ice cream cones. Pros: Nice detail Nice pieces Nice stickers I like the chain and gear (I am a gear fan) I like the suspension Cons: For the B-model, the steering is bad Oh well. My time is up. This set highly recommended to the intermediate builder, like me. But the beginner can still trying. I leave some image, may helpful.Written by a customer while visiting shop.LEGO.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
