The Rockwood 624.CRM brass door viewer has a 160-degree viewing range, a privacy cover, and a bright chrome finish. A privacy cover covers the inside of the viewer to prevent visibility from the outside to the inside. The viewer meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A156.16: L03222, L03172 specifications and is UL listed. It can be installed in a 1/2'' diameter hole in doors 1-3/8'' to 2'' thick.
A door viewer, commonly called a peephole, consists of a metal cylinder and a glass lens. It is inserted in a hole in a door to allow one to see out of the closed door while preventing those outside from seeing in.
