5G Panda 999.9 Fine Gold Coin






The giant pandas, animals representing peace and good fortune, are native to China and are proudly called “China’s national treasure”.

To mark two decades of close diplomatic relationships, China entrusted Singapore with two cute and cuddly looking giant pandas, “Kai Kai’ and “Jia Jia”, under a ten years loan.

They made their public appearance in December 2012 and are currently stars of the River Safari, a new section of the Singapore Zoo.

This uniquely designed coin allows collectors to join Singapore in celebrating the entrusting of these two national treasures by owning a piece of this limited edition coin.



999.9 Fine Gold
The image of the two giant pandas is embossed on a 1oz 999.9 fine gold.

Iconic Reverse Design
The Giant Pandas gold coin design portrays two giant pandas resting by a cluster of bamboo plants, which are the main food source of giant pandas. The design also includes the inscription PANDA SINGAPORE, the coin’s weight and fineness, and GoldSilver Refinery’s “GS” logo mark.




Limited Mintage
PureGold.sg will release not more than 2000 pieces of the Giant Panda 5g 999.9 fine gold coin.

Numbered Certificate of Authenticity

Each coin is accompanied by a GS Assay Certification of Authenticity.
