Cayin C6 is a portable hifi headphone amplifier. Connection with Apple iPhone / iPad / iPod touch, directly read its digital audio signal and analog audiosignals decoded into HD, melodious soundoutput from the headphone port
Using one of the highest quality DAC chips on the market- the Wolfson WM8741- the C6 is capable of sampling at up to 16 bits or 44.1/48 kHz. While you can plug any device through the front 1/8'' jack and use the C6 as only an amplifier, it is meant mostly for iDevices, namely any iPhone after the 3GS, all iPads, and the iPod Touch. Most DACs require a separate camera accessory kit to link up to your iPhone, but the C6 connects simply through the included Lightning and 30-pin cables.
