AGITEC Guard allows you to monitor your child's whereabouts especially when he/she is out (attending school, enrichment classes etc). This is achieved through the use of built-in GPS and GSM of the watch, and a dedicated mobile app AgiAngel. You can set the update frequency of your child's location. You can also view the history of where your child has been.

You may not have the resources to monitor your child's location all the time. Our system is therefore designed to let you set a "safe zone". The safe zone is an area within which your child should stay. If your child for any reason goes out of the safe zone, you will receive an alert asking you to check your child's location.

COMMUNICATING

If you are worried about your child receiving unwanted phone calls, you will be glad to hear that this has been taken care of. Your child will only be able to make/receive calls from the authorized numbers that you set. You can even set the times during which the watch does not ring, that way he/she will not be disturbed unnecessarily (for example during classes).

AGITEC Guard has a built-in Smart SOS system in case of emergency. With one long press on the SOS button, your child can initiate an emergency SOS alert which automatically sends his/her location to 3 preset phone numbers and call these numbers until one of them picks up his/her call.

Agitec Guard allows you to listen discretely to its surrounding without the wearer's knowledge. This could be very useful in the unfortunate event that your child faces danger posed by others and you need to hear what is going on.

CAN A PRE-PAID SIM CARD BE USED FOR AGITEC GUARD WATCH ?

AGITEC Guard works with both pre-paid and post-paid SIM cards. When choosing the SIM card type, please select cards that also supports 2G or 3G.

DOES AGITEC GUARD USE MOBILE DATA ?

Yes, AGITEC Guard uses mobile data, although its usage is minimal. In the case of pre-paid SIM cards, it may be cheaper to use the mobile data on pay-as-you-use basis, as compared to a pre-paid data plan.

TO GET THE PHONE TO WORK, DO I NEED ANYTHING ELSE APART FROM A SIM CARD ?

Apart from a SIM card, you will also need to : (1) download our app AgiAngel (for iOS or Android) and (2) ensure your subscription to our Agitec server is active.

WHY DOES AGITEC GUARD WATCH NEED TO RELY ON YOUR AGITEC SERVER TO WORK PROPERLY ?

AGITEC Guard receives GPS signal which is then sent to and stored in our Agitec server. This information is subsequently transmitted to AgiAngel on your smart phone upon request. So you are in fact constantly utilizing the data from our server through your smart phone app in locating / tracking your AGITEC Guard.

IS THE SERVER USAGE FREE OF CHARGE ?

The server is free for one year after you have purchased AGITEC Guard. We reserve the right to implement a server usage fee of RM20 per year after the first year, should you decide to continue using the server. Please contact us regarding any server subscription matters.

IS AGITEC GUARD WATCH WATER RESISTANT ?

AGITEC Guard is sweat resistant, but not water resistant and should avoid coming into contact with water.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE AGITEC GUARD ?

It takes about 2 hours to fully charge AGITEC Guard from total depleted state to fully charged state.

MY AGITEC GUARD CAN MAKE OUTGOING CALLS, BUT CANNOT RECEIVE INCOMING CALLS. WHY ?

To receive incoming calls, AGITEC Guard needs to know the caller's number, so you will need to have Caller ID for the SIM card. Most prepaid SIM cards here come with free Caller ID. Some postpaid plans require you to pay for Caller ID.
