Unfortunately, it seems that Loreal has changed their packaging. The cooling metal tip is no longer on this product and has been replaced by a silicone one. I was extremely disappointed when I brought it home and discovered this and will be returning. The price point warrants this "extra" feature as it gave the product a more luxurious feel and look and was indeed effective for the under eye area. In addition, I briefly gave the silicone one I brought home a try and noticed that this tip "dragged" on the skin when applying. This is certainly not something you want to happen, especially in this area. Unless the tip changes back to the original metal one, I will not be buying again or recommending. The formula was great as well, so I hope this did not change either. (Yes, even though it says "instant.") I did notice a difference when I used the product, and you can definitely tell the formula isn't just your basic facial moisturizer. It feels different, it smells different - the smell is something I didn't really care fore. While it wasn't big deterrent it did take a little bit of getting used to. I'm sure it was the "active ingredients" in the product though, otherwise I can't imagine L'Oreal just leaving it. I did like the results I got, and I think it would work for some problem areas with combination or potentially very dry skin you could use it as "spot treatment" too - although that might be a bit of a waste considering the price.End result, I liked it, and I would definitely recommend the product to people looking for specifically this sort of thing. The creme glides on smoothly and keeps the under eye skin supple throughout the day.
