Bought this in a medium (I'm 5 foot 2, normally a size 8, with bulky arms) and I will be exchanging for a large. The medium buttons but it looks too tight and I know I would have problems layering and buttoning it at the same time. This coat would have looked nicer too if it had a belt. Anyway nice for the $ and hopefully it will look better a size up. It is casual but not overly so. An almost boucle bumpy type texture, you could imagine it is faux wool. I bought it on a rollback very low price, and Im so glad I took a chance. The hood is large, but not too bulky. I got an XLRG to be able to wear it over big winter clothes, normally I wear a LRG coat. This fits just right how I want it to, if I'd got a LRG I worry the arms may have been too snug over sweaters.
