PRODUCT NAME
Aikoi Wind Up Racing 4 Mice-Realistic Looking Mice - Set of 4
PRODUCT CODE: PROD960272285
PRODUCT INFORMATION
This package of 4 mice has my cats racing around. Each mouse is about 4.5 inches long [not counting the tail.] They are powered by winding them up. When you release the handle, the mouse runs across the floor and it''s tail twirls around
Come in 4 mice in the set. Each of these are really fuzzy feeling and pretty cute for a mouse. Simply pull them back and then watch them scurry across the floor. There little tails even move. Your dog, cat and kids were chasing these around Too cute
The more quickly on my wood floor or the tile floor but not on carpet. If they hit a wall they will turn and go the other way about 75% of the time. If they don''t turn, they simply stop at the wall
I''m sure if you were to play with this around an old woman, you''d hear a scream. They do look kind of realistic from a distance. They''re easy to use. You just wind up the mouse, and let it run. Little wheels underneath the mice propel them across the floor
They''ll travel for about 15-20 seconds per wind up, which turns out to be at least 10 feet of distance traveled. (What happens is they travel in straight lines, so they hit the wall, and stop. Or, the cat catches it and it stops.)

Product Description
First off, these are DEFINITELY wind-up mice - I''m not sure what people who say otherwise are talking about. The spring wheel is on the back side and will take about 4-5 half turns (go easy and don''t crank it until you get familiar with the capacity).
There are two wheels underneath towards the back and a contact nib at the front, which tends to randomize the forward direction. Set the mouse on a hard flat surface and it will travel (quickly) straight for awhile then typically fishtail into a loop. If you want to loop from the start, say within a small area, it''s easy to guide the release with a touch of twist.
The ''fur'' is the most realistic component - and I speak from experience(!). The tail is more obviously plastic but the twirling action while the mouse is in motion is effective. The eyes are the least-convincing, but the overall appearance (especially in dim light) is surprisingly realistic.
Bottom Line: Great for pets, kids, squeemish co-workers, and other co-habitants who scare easily! Hard, flat floors and surfaces are best. Carpet - not so much.
They look really cute. The tail spins and the wind-up action doesn''t last very long but my cat follows them around and when they run into something and get stuck he picks them up by the tail and tosses them and they go off in another direction. He tries to encourage us to play by bringing them onto the bed every morning and batting them around on the linoleum. So far I have tried all four and they all work. We are using the gray one exclusively right now and left the brown and black one at my parent''s house so he has something to play with when we go visit. I make sure I don''t over wind them and even after using the same one nearly every day for weeks it is still working.
