The standard of "CUSTOM"
"CUSTOM" - this is honorable name of PILOT. Common feature of CUSTOM series is intently to chase quality of "writing". Extra decoration is not here. Only quality. The birth of "CUSTOM 74" is 1974. It was revolution in the writing tool world. Quality, design and price... standard and foundation is here. Maybe it is correct that this "became" standard.

All foundation for writing is here. Moderate thickness of axis, balanced weight, preferable condition of nib and chic design. Perfect. By the way, there are "742" and "743". It can be said that this 3 kinds are base of "CUSTOM". What's different point ? The decoration, length and thickness is difference a little. However the most different point is nib size. "CUSTOM 74" is #5, the most smallest among this 3 series (But this doesn't mean large nib is good).
