Oralmat contains a gluten-free, activated extract of Secale cereale (rye) in which are found phytoestrogens, genistein, matairesinol, beta-1,3-glucan, coenzyme Q10 and squalene.
The young rye plants are harvested at the peak of their nutrient density and are extracted using a special process to preserve their potency.
The active constituents have immunomodulatory, estrogenic, steroidal and antioxidant properties, and are also involved in cellular energy production.* In 1999 Oralmat was used in a double-blind placebo controlled study at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Australia.
