She can practice coloring in smaller areas and details without the frustration of coloring outside the lines and "ruining" her picture, or getting her hands messy with pens/paints. She is delighted with the fairy tale illustrations (especially the mermaid), which have a good level of detail and little surprises to look for, and comes back to play with this toy over and over with fresh enjoyment.
