It is a tool to improve shifting failure due to distortion of derailleur hanger (pedestal).
If the derailleur hanger, such as chromolor, is integrated, if the measurement error is small, it can be calibrated with this machine.
If the error is large, please replace it if it is a replaceable derailleur hanger.
【Operating procedure】
1. Remove the derailleur and install this machine.
2. Attach the gauge to the rim, move the O-ring to the base and mark it at the reference distance.
3. Check the distance to the rim in the 3, 6, 9, 12 o'clock direction of the watch.
→ If there is no gap, the hanger and the rim are parallel, there is no problem.
→ There is a gap with the rim, or adjustment is necessary when the marked O - ring is moving outward.
If the error is small, you can grasp the arm part of the machine little by little.
* If the derailleur hanger is an interchangeable type, please be careful especially during work as it may be damaged if corrective work is done.
※ Please be careful after acknowledging because there is a possibility that painting peeling, crack cracking, breakage may occur by operation.
