JVCC MPF-01 Metalized Polyester Film Tape is a metallized (aluminized) polyester mylar film with a brilliant, vibrant mirror-like finish; coated with an aggressive long lasting clear acrylic adhesive system. Tapes have excellent chemical and thermal stability. Silver can be qualified to meet Federal Specification #L-T-100B, Type II. Gold is PVC-free and can be laser cut. Metalized Polyester Film Tape is used for reflective shielding; industrial & graphic art applications; decorative trim, nameplates, electric appliances an and advertising displays. It is also suitable for micro film splicing and can be used in photo sensing applications to detect spices and to facilitate roll changeovers (should test first). The tape is self-wound (no release liner) and all colors of MPF-01 are silver on the exposed adhesive-side of the tape. JVCC MPF-01 complies with the European RoHS 2002/95/EU, 2011/65/EU directives. If not otherwise specified widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product''s actual size is 6.3mm wide. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores.
