                 This was a gift for my daughter who is currently residing in Japan. She likes getting fresh pineapple at the open markets. She absolutely LOVED this tool and wondered how she ever lived without it. She said she thought it would be difficult to use (like the watermelon cutters that are hard to push through) but that it worked beautifully. She was impressed with how easy it was to use. The images are from her first time ever using it and you can see the results were fantastic. I am about to purchase another for myself!
 
 
                 Love the pineapple slicer! I did not think it was really going to work but it does. I did have a hard time pulling the pineapple out of the shell though and cut the shell open but then it was easy. The corer that is included as a free gift.. well.. it is a "free" gift if you know what I mean. It works with soft apples but one try with a Granny Smith twisted it out of shape. It may still be useful， no idea， but I do not use it for hard apples anymore， which is what I like to eat. However， the purchase is about the pineapple slicer/corer and that is awesome! It seems sturdy so I wil probably treasure it for several years.

                Being someone who likes to get creative in the kitchen， I was happy to get this Stainless Steel Pineapple Peeler by Golden wide. After seeing what this peeler can do， I knew I had to try it for myself. My family loves fresh fruit， we eat it daily and serve it for special occasions， too. I was surprised how easily it cores and slices through a pineapple. I love that the pineapple itself stays intact and can be used as a serving vessel for a fruit salad， or any type of dish and used as a fancy party mug， as well. I love that it can be used as a table centerpiece and is a fun topic of conversation and gets a lot of compliments. I like that the pineapple top can even be used as a cover and reveals a surprise when taken off. I think this is a really nice tool for coring and slicing a pineapple and the added benefit of a fun serving dish and centerpiece for the table or buffet and would make a lovely gift for anyone who likes to entertain or get creative in the kitchen.
