It is a battery-operated pin instrument， full transistorized and operates on a pure dielectric constant measurement with HF waves. The method of measurement is based on a balance system， which measures the DK value(dielectric-value) of the moisture material， after precious deduction of the DK-value of the dry material and thus the pure moisture is indicated.
