How to ultraviolet work

Sterilization of water using ultravioletlight at a wavelength at 254nm is a chemical free way of destroying the DNA ofmicroorganisms rendering them unable to replicate or cause infection.Ultraviolet disinfection kills bacteria， is safe to use， reliable and chemicalfree， UV treatment does not change the tast， odor， PH， or the general chemistryof water.

Conditions for Use

The incoming water quality will impact theeffective of UV (the turbidity， suspended solid and chrome will impact thelight transmmittance， weak wave). An additional 5 micron sediment and housingis recommended as a minimum pretreatment to guard against any large particlesthat may mask the ultraviolet light and also assist with startup procedure.(Please see below UV pre-Filter Link)

General operation and maintenance

To clean the quartz sleeve every 6-12months， replace every 24 months.

Replace UV lamp every 12 months to keepbest sterilization performance.
