This Stacked Rock, Reptile Habitat Accessory is one of those practical items that we use quite often; especially with younger bearded dragons. Measuring 9''L x 7''W x 3.5''H; it''s a good size for them and because it is of molded resin, it can be easily cleaned.
We like the look of some wooden habitat accessories, but because they are porous, they can collect bacteria and other potential health problems for your reptile. It is possible to periodically bake these items in your oven at 300 degrees and sterilize them; but not very practical.
The Stacked Rock may be cleaned with soapy water, followed up with some chlorhexidine. Chlorhexidine is our favorite cleaner since it is an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal cleaner which is non-toxic to your reptiles.
The Stacked Rock may also be used as a ''stepping stone'' for reptiles to reach other habitat accessories or to climb into one of our comfortable hammocks.
