The Galaxy J7 Prime is another of Samsung’s addition to the smart phone segment in 2016. It’s a 5.5 inch screen with a 3GB RAM. Surprisingly it doesn’t run on the Snapdragon, but uses the Exynos 7870 Octa.
It is a dual-sim phone for busy users and packs a 3300 mAh battery. The primary camera is 13 MP, while the secondary is 8 MP. This is obviously a selfie friendly phone with the secondary camera just being 5 MP lesser than the primary.
It comes in two colors, one is Black and the other is gold which seems very similar to apple’s rose gold.
The J7 Prime has an Ultra power saving mode which lets you have a talk time of 21H which is pretty neat.
It runs on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow)
The phone comes with 16GB of Internal space that can be extended up to 256 GB for heavy video and photo users. According to a few reports, the finger print scanner doesn’t work up to the mark always and the camera’s performance in areas with low light is below par.
The design and the build of the phone is solid and it does have a premium look to it. Overall it’s a decent phone at that price point.
