SUGGESTIONS FOR USE: :
1. Fill hopper with loose tea (max 1 tbsp) or one tea bag.
2.Snap cover closed and place into cup of hot water
3.Steep to infuse liquid, 2-3 minutes
4.Stir then press plunger to release more flavor.
5. Open cover, tap out tea or teabag; rinse to clean

CAUTIONS::
1) Good loose tea is always whole leaf (though it is often rolled when processed, so it might not look like whole leaves.) In any event, no decent loose tea should have powder or very tiny particles small enough to go thru the holes in the plastic part of this infuser. If your tea contains such small particles, we suggest you switch to pre-made teabags, or us a fillable teabag with this device (such as the samples we include) to contain any such particles; still providing you with the ability to squeeze the bag after brewing without directly handling a steaming teabag!

2) The two halves of the infuser snap together fairly well, but be careful to keep pieces of tea off of the two rims. Also, keep in mind that the plunger exerts such force that it could pop open if pressed hard. We suggest that you hold the two halves together between two fingers, where it snaps together, while you are pressing on the plunger. The plastic should not be uncomfortably hot to hold like this, and you won't dump the tea leaves into your brew!
