When cleaning suede, always test in aninconspicuous area first.

Is Repel harmful to me or the environment?

Absolutely not. Repel is a water-based greenproduct. Itu2019s colorless and odorless.
 

How do I apply Repel?
The material should be clean and dry prior to application. Holdbottle upright 6u2033 to 8u201d from shoe, spray evenly covering theentire area of the shoe. Do not oversaturate. Use a cloth to daband soak up any excess product. Allow to completelydry/cure for 24 hours or more. After the first coathas dried, repeat steps and apply a second coat. Beforeexposing to liquid, make sure shoeshave completely dried.

Tip:The longer you allow Repel to cure, the stronger therepellency.

 

What shoes can I use Repel on?
Use Repel on absorbent materials like, suede, nubuck andcanvas. Leathers that are sealed or have polishes on them(i.e. patent leather) are essentially already waterproof. If Repelis accidentally applied to these types of materials, simply wipeclean with a cloth before it dries.

 

How long does Repel last?
Repel generally lasts 4-6 weeks. Longevity will vary depending onthe amount of exposure to the elements. The best way to testthe effectiveness of the Repel is to take a few drops of waterand observe how well the water beads and rolls off of theshoe. If reapplication is needed, we suggest cleaning yourshoes with our Premium Shoe Cleaner, allow to fully dry and toreapply Repel following the directions on the bottle.
