Desk top use
Note A:Lay the unit flat when not in use (keys facing downward).This will allow the hook switch to remain depressed when teh phone is not in use.
Note B:When your phone is being used on a counter or desk toop，the dial tome reset on-off switch should be in the on position.
Wall Mount Use
For wall mounting， your phone in-cludes a convenient hang hook on the very top of the telephone. Simply hang your phone from an ordinary household nail or hook. (not included) Plug the straight end of the cord
into a modular wall jack as shown in the previous section.
NOTE: Wen wall mounting， the Dial Tone Reset On-Off Switch should be in the off position. As the hook switch is not depressed when wall mounted. If the Dial Tone Reset On-Off Switch remains in the on position.
you will not be able to receice incomig calls as your line will be off hook.
Operation
Important notice
Your phone will operate on tome service only.
Dialing a call
Pick up phone and wait for a dial tome， then press the keys for the number you want to dial. Your phone will generate true tome sounds.
Note: Make sure teh Dial Tone Reset/On-Off Switch is in the on positin.
Receiving a call
When your phone rings， pick it up and use it like any basic telephone.
Note: If the phone is wall mounted， you will need to adjust the dial tone reset/on-off switch to the on position when the phone rings to receive your incoming call.
Last number redial
Your phone remembers the last number dialed. This is a convenient feature when trying to place a call to a phone number that is not being answered or is continuously busy.
Simply press the hook switch or adjust the dial tone reset/on-off switch to the off then on positin to get a dial tone followed by pressing the redial key REDIAL. You call will be automatically dialed.
Ringer on/off
Your relephone uses a harmonic tone ringer. When you don't want to be disturbed， slide the RINGER ON/OFF switch to the off position. Now you can still make outgoing calls， but you will not be disturbed by incoming calls.
Endding a call
After you finish a conversation， just hang up the handset. If you wish to make another call after ending your first call， simply depress the hook switch briefly， release， and dial.
Telephone number insert
A small area for your phone number has been provided on the inside of the handset between the RD/# switch and ringer on/off switch. Remove the plastic window by inserting a small pointed object in the pin hole on side.
Push to the opposite side and lift off. Write or type your area code and phone number on the paper label and replace. Slightly bend the plastic cover to slip back into position over the RD/# and Ringer On/Off Switch.
Additional information
When you phone is not in use， lay the unit flat (keys facing downward) with the Dial Tone Reset/On-Off Switch in the on position. If the unit is wall mounted， be sure to set the Dial Tone Reset/On-Off Switch in the off position.
