This Intelligent 3-in1 Stud Scanner that detects not only stud & joist but also AC live wires and metals behind walls. With the use electronic signals it shows exactly where the center and edges of your stud actually are. Plus， it automatically calibrates itself after starting up with sensitive induction.

It has a built-in marker slot for marking the spot one-handed. Simply select mode from the 3 options， Stud， AC live wires or Metal detection via selection switcher. Once the edge of a stud or joist or AC live wire or metal is detected， the scanner displays the center arrow and sends out sound indication then you can easily mark the central position of the target on the measured surface through the marker slot on top of the tool with pencil.
