He has always liked more realistic (not little kid) looking costumes and toys. This came with a hoodie shirt that looks very much like chain mail, a foam chest plate for armor, a helmet, shield, gauntlet, small sword, and an axe! It was a lot for the money. The plastic is pretty thin and light weight so will break with some fighting/banging, but I was overall impressed. The details on the pieces were well done. **The only downside was the head hole in the shirt is not very large so be careful if your child has a large head or is at the upper end of the age range. My son is average sized and we bought the 4-8 year size which fit, but I did have to stretch the head hole a bit to get it on.
