L’OREAL: Serioxyl & Aminexil Review

One of my favorite perks about being a blogger is the amount of products companies send me to test and review. I will admit， I love it because I like trying new things plus who doesn’t like anything that’s technically free. But.. BUT.. I MUST say that it’s not as simple as it seems especially since not everything that I’ve tried works well with me. In fact，my skin is undergoing a major overhaul now- I’ve been breaking out，my pores are clogged and I just found out yesterday that I have a few warts on my face. Uggggh， I died. Thank God for The Aivee Institute for rejuvenating my skin: I’m gradually seeing the changes， improvement and documenting my visits before I reveal the NEW me.. or more like new skin， SOON!

Another thing that has taken a toll from all the events， photos shoots and amount of products I’ve been using is: MY HAIR. Come to think of it， my hair is the most damaged of all especially since I regularly have it coloured， highlighted and bleached. Sadly， my hair is naturally thin， I have two kids so I had those moments of hair loss and fear of growing bald (for a time) – PLUS- I’m sure you can attest to the amount of hairspray and heat (from blowdrying) that I’ve put my hair through to get my signature pompadour hair up and the amount of gel that I use to side sweep and bring my hair down – flat. I use a lot of conditioner and try to have my hair treated when time permits but sadly， it’s not enough. Without my regular products and styling: my hair is actually very dry， damaged and brittle. Sob

A few months ago，L’ORÉAL Philippines through my good friend Mika Lagdameo-Martinez sent me a package to try out: L’ORÉAL Serioxyl and Aminexil. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I’m quite happy with the results. I really feel that my hair is thicker，strands are more dense and looks healthier.

Amongst all the products that were sent， it’s the Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum and Denser Hair Serum that I loved the most. I feel like I have an extra coat of protection on my hair and it seems to be growing so much faster. So far, I really like the result and I feel assured that my hair thinning issue will be resolved sooner or later. The Serioxyl Fuller Hair treatment kit consists of three haircare products:

So far I've been including the Clarifying Shampoo and Bodifying Conditioner into my regime, and it's been great so far! My hairline seems to be fuller after about a week of usage. I'm keeping this in view and hopefully see if I can do a before and after shot another few weeks later. I also like the refreshing sensation from both products thanks to the menthol and peppermint essential oil in the products. It gives a tingling and refreshing sensation on my scalp.

Ask what's amazing about this haircare range? It's because these products are formulated with a unique combination of thickness boosting active ingredients for an instant result. INCELL, present also in Thicker Hair Serum, combines with GLUCOBOOST, a dual-action targeted agent

containing an energy reserve to nourish the hair follicle and a lipid part to fuel

The other two hair care serums under the Serioxyl range is the Thicker Hair Serum and Denser Hair Serum. Since I do not have thin hair issues, I decided to go ahead with the denser hair serum. I seem to have residing hair line because of repeated bunning up of hair. This Denser Hair Serum serves to re-densify and stimulate hair bulb activity with a patented molecule Stemoxydine. This action is bolstered by Neohesperidin, a flavonoid well-known for its anti-oxidant and scalp-protection properties.

Normally, I use about 8 pipette of Denser Hair Serum and massage onto my scalp. Likewise, it gives a refreshing and stimulating sensation when massaged.
