Used it in the ARMED mode, it is a highly sensitive security device to deter theft. Arming the lock is simply to shackle the lock in the armed direction, the lock will issue a single beep when it is armed correctly.

CLAVIS is a sturdy lock with an alarm function. And we offer many designs to suit your security needs. It is well suited to secure gates & doors to your house, office, factory, shop, store or facility, including your bicycle, motorcycle, etc.

Clavis™ locks with alarm uses a specialized micro-controller, powered with 6 pieces of LR44 batteries. When the lock is armed, the deterrent system is set to detect disturbance to the lock. It uses a complex combination of sensor based technologies to detect any attempt to temper with the lock or its accompanying chain or latch.

Once an attempt of theft is detected by the Clavis™ lock, the alarm will release 3 high pitched warning beeps and the lock system goes into intruder alert mode with increased sensitivity. Any further attempt to temper with the lock or its accompanying metal chain or latch will activate the full alarm of a 10 second duration, 110 decibel volume, siren.

At the end of a full alarm activation, the Clavis™ lock system enters its highest sensitivity mode for the next 30 seconds. Within this consecutive 30 seconds, if an additional attempt is detect the full alarm is re-activated. If there are no further attempt being detected, the lock system will drop its sensitivity mode one level. This negates the possibility of false or accidental alarms by the Clavis™ lock.
