Lodged within the apricot walls of a Peranakan-inspired
shop-house, Satay Culture weaves the latter part of its name into the building’s façade; intricate detailing mimicking floral appliqués and sinuous knots.
Plating sizzling skewers of fresh seafood, chewy greens, and fried nibbles amongst their offerings, the restaurant’s mainstay is their authentic Malaccan lok lok, also known as satay celup.
True to its name, customers dip each skewer into bubbling pots of satay sauce, allowing each item to be cooked according to one’s personal preference, with sweet or chilli sauces
accompanying each meal.
