The flip top seals when plugged but is not leakproof， so please keep this bottle upright! The Flip Cap has a handy pivoting handle that makes it easy to carry the bottle and that stows out of the way while drinking. Constructed of polypropylene (PP#5) with a medical grade silicone spout， the Flip Cap is BPA/BPS-free with no phthalates， PVC， or polycarbonates. Like all Lifefactory caps and bottles， the Flip Cap is dishwasher safe. Made in the USA.
